Stafford Lee must crack the toughest case of his career. And this time, it's personal.

Review: If you're a fan of crime fiction, then this one's for you. It reminded me of John Grisham's style - faced-paced and twisty. We follow Biloxi's top criminal defence lawyer, Stafford Lee Penney, with a reputation for getting even the most unsavoury characters acquitted. But when Stafford Lee becomes the prime suspect in a crime very close to home, his career spirals out of control. There's courtroom drama, murder, and scandals galore. Can the #1 lawyer find a way to save himself?

This was a solid, enjoyable read. I was hooked in the first half, but found the second half slower and it didn't quite have the big plot twist I was hoping for.
